Breathing through the Chaos
Let’s face it - chaos creeps up on us before we know it. In these moments, keeping your cool is of utmost importance but how do you do that?
Breathe
Take a deep breathe. I know, it might seem like hyperventilating is the only way to get through this but taking a few minutes to ground yourself and breath will really help you recentre yourself. You’ll be able to tackle what’s going on with a clearer head and a lighter heart.
Asking for help is one of the most vulnerable feelings and it can be scary but I promise you that the
people who love you will jump in with both feet to help you get through the chaos. Whether it’s friends, family, or sometimes coworkers, you have allies.
Take a step back
Have you heard of the saying “being in the weeds?” That can happen within your own life too and understanding what to do when things get unclear is critical. Take a step back and ask yourself what you might say to a friend in this circumstance can be helpful.
Opening up to strangers can be easier. We actually created a program known as The Collective for a
small group of like-minded women who want to find balance in their life, feel more organized in their space, and build a non-judgmental community of support. Get on the waitlist for the next session in September 2021.
Be kind to yourself
It’s okay to feel overwhelmed or anxious - it happens to the best of us. Don’t beat yourself up and remember that you’ve made it this far. Practice a little self-love by scheduling a massage or blasting some music and dancing like no one’s watching. Remember above all else: you’ve got this.
